The person behind the pruning shears
A lifetime in the garden
My path into horticulture began at school, where my final years were spent completing a two-year trade & agriculture course in Sunbury. From there I worked alongside several landscapers and at Din San Nursery — the first of many hands-on chapters.
Over the following six years I worked across Perth, Sydney and Brisbane as a landscaper and in various nurseries, before spending two years in Auckland with Pacific Landscape & Gardens. Returning to Melbourne, I carried with me a deep, practical grounding in horticulture and landscaping earned in gardens all over Australia and New Zealand.
I've been fortunate to be mentored and guided by many remarkable people throughout my working life. That accumulated knowledge — three decades of it — is what I bring to every garden I care for today.
